Tailor-Made Itinerary 10

Gobi Desert Overland Tour
"White Tara" Bogd Khan Museum ©OTMT
The fabled Gobi Desert lies in the south of Mongolia. It is home to some nomadic families and also to lots of unusual wild life. The Gurvansaikhan National Park, set high above the desert floor, is home to wild argali sheep and rare birds, and visitors to the area can walk in the ice-filled "Eagle's Mouth" canyon. Dinosaur remains have been found in the region, well-preserved in the dry atmosphere.
